Jared and I started food blogging almost a year ago (a week and a half until our 1 year blog-iversary!), mostly to document the dishes he cooks everyday. We've since then have been on a fast track in learning how to properly photograph food and pushing ourselves to extend past our culinary boundaries and explore new recipes. And the best part of it is that we've befriended many a fellow food bloggers! So when mega food blogger Bee of RasaMalaysia.com asked us to write a guest post for her, it was a no brainer. We also knew right away that we'd want to share a secret family recipe, homemade crispy pork belly (烧肉). Yum!
