The Last of the Beef- Philly Cheese Steak / by Alice Zhao

So, here we are. You, me and Jared. The last of the sliced beef. Are we happy to be rid of you or sad to see you go? Oh what fond memories we have of you and your 20 luscious pounds: three gorgeous meals of hotpot, mouthwatering gyu-don, grease pit filling yakisoba, and oh so lovely bibimbap.

For the very last meal, we picked up some french bread, green peppers, onions and cheese to make a classic Philly cheese steak. This reminds me a lot of eating at Bear's Den back in my college years at Washington University (in St. Louis, duh). Anybody with me on this one? This also reminds me why I gained so much weight and kept it!

Philly Cheese Steak
I'm pretty sure I'm on the verge of a heart attack after so many meals of super thinly sliced prime rib. Thankfully, tonight is a sushi night extravaganza as my mom put in a request for Jared and I to host a large family dinner as my favorite aunt and uncle from Toronto are in town this week (read: my ONLY aunt and uncle from Toronto hehe). It's going to be a packed house tonight!

Btw, we actually still have a small bit of marinated beef leftover from the bibimbap... it's in the freezer... nooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
