We came home from Beard Papa's just in time to watch Mama and Papa Zhao prepare and cook our crab dinner.

Papa Zhao preps the crab, Mama Zhao coats it with corn starch

Stir fried with ginger, garlic and scallions
Rice wine, sugar, salt (msg if you like)

Ooh la la

Mama Zhao also makes a steamed egg dish (like chawanmushi) with green onions and dried scallops set inside the shell of the crab. Hers comes out so incredibly smooth and soft, we need to learn her secret!
