New Years Eve Lunch- More. Beef. / by Alice Zhao

For the last 2 years I've been wanting to get a stone pot to make DolSot BiBimBap, but I always chicken out because the decent sized ones are close to $30. It's not outrageously expensive but I never feel like I can justify it especially since I'd probably only use it a couple times a year. Anyway, so we settled for regular bibimbap today for lunch and had a fun photoshoot since we actually got to shoot during the day instead of at night. It's always nice to be able to use natural light for our food photos.

Bibimbap is actually a fairly simple dish that allows for lots of variations. They key ingredients for me are the bulgogi beef, gochujang (red pepper paste) and sunny side up egg on top.
