For those numerous participants in our game, the answer is.... Beef Stew with Carrots and Potatoes! Jared used the recipe from this month's Gourmet magazine, also to be found on www.epicurious.com. It was really tasty and made our entire place smell so good! Another perfect meal for a cold winter day in Chicago. And just as the article suggest, it really does taste even better the next day. The beef, carrots and potatoes absorbed even more of the full-bodied sauce. We had it for lunch today with the addition of a handful of cooked rotini pasta. Yum-my!
