One of the reason why we wanted to visit NYC on our East Coast trip was to try out some more restaurants on the Pellegrino Top 50 restaurant list. Night #2 in NYC brought us to Daniel. Our dear friend Stephane of ZenCanCook.com hooked us up with these sweet reservations at Daniel and on top of that, we were also dining with fellow food blogger, Marc of NoRecipes.com fame and his wife. Upon our entrance, we spotted Daniel Boulud himself, and I want to say he gave us a nod and a smile (probably b/c I was staring and giggling like a schoolgirl).
After sitting down and getting acquainted again after meeting in Kyoto last year, we each ordered a 3 course pre-fixe meal which came with some extra dishes from the chef. This time, I'll just let the pictures do the talking.
