We started the next day by checking out the local Davis Farmers Market. Ever since we got our camera back in December, I put farmers markets on the top of my to-photograph list. But, there sure as heck aren’t any farmers markets in Chicago in the middle of the pipe-freezing winter, so I was pretty excited to get my first chance to shoot at one in Davis. I think these came out very successfully!

And then before we left for Napa Valley part 2, we stopped by downtown Davis for a quick slice of Jared’s sister’s favorite vegetarian pizza at Village Bakery to tie us over and picked up a loaf of bread for later.
